Rana's goal is to create awareness that our body has the intelligence and infinite organizing power so that when we consciously mobilize this inner capacity, we increase its ability to renew and regenerate. Following this holistic lifestyle approach through regular practice you can reverse the aging process, energize and consciously stimulate optimal levels of wellness. Rana's methods focus on showing us how to tap into this inner pharmacy and use our body's innate intelligence for healing and wellness.


About Rana

Rana has been drawn to the meditative, philosophical, mystical and spiritual aspects of Yoga for over two decades. About fifteen years ago, after her meditation teacher moved back to Europe, she took her first Yoga class. Preferring private instruction, to help delve into all the limbs of Yoga, she met her mentor, a Vedanta scholar and Teacher of close to 50 years. Rana always says, “India found me right where I was!” Soon after, Rana began feeling incredible benefits, and the desire to share and transmit the incredible transformative and therapeutic system that is YOGA.

Rana is the creator and host of the first bilingual Yoga TV show, YOGA CHEZ VOUS, airing on Videotron VOX/Channel 9 since September 2006. voxtv.info/yoga/. Rana is currently a member of Yoga Alliance and the International Association of Yoga Therapists and is extensively trained by renowned teachers from North America and India, including White Lotus Foundation (flowstlyle), Eric Schiffman, Monica Voss, Judith Lasater, Donna Farhi, Kaustaub and T.K.V. Desikachar, Rama Berch and many more. Rana believes that having a variety of techniques to choose from facilitates “right teaching (which) is in the adaptation of yoga to the individual, not the individual to yoga”. This concept is the basis of all Yoga Therapy.

Over the years, Rana has developed a style that facilitates healing in the body and relaxation in the mind. With a studio at the Queen Elizabeth Health Complex located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Rana works by appointment offering therapeutic solutions for treatment of physical and psychosomatic disorders to individuals and a corporate clientele.

Rana believes the system of Yoga, when properly understood, is an extremely effective and practical methodology to combat the fast pace of daily life. She has mastered the ancient methods, combined them with new and inspired options and teaches to the modern yogi, a person who wants to Feel Better, Think Better and Lead a Better Life. This modern yogi needs to stay relaxed in a very fast paced often-complex lifestyle.

Rana’s Workshop: Yoga Based Tools For Stress Reduction offers simple and solution-focused strategies, utilizing all aspects of the Yogic system, including postures, breathing, meditation, mantra, mindfulness and beyond.
